Bio-Free™ Advanced Antimicrobial is a durable, EPA-registered antimicrobial surface treatment for hard and soft surfaces. Rather than poisoning microorganisms, it attracts them with an ionic charge and physically ruptures the cell membrane on contact, so it is never consumed and does not support adaptive organisms. It will not leach onto skin or into the environment.
Built on organofunctional silane chemistry developed at Dow Corning and EPA registered since 1976, Bio-Free has more than 40 years of documented, safe use behind it. It remains functional through repeated washing and stays effective for the lifetime of the treated surface.
Bio-Free and Tile Doctor Shield 72-36 are the same formulation sold under two brand names, sharing one EPA registration and one performance history. Choose whichever name your specification, distributor or project calls for.
